IR-A vs NED-A: Netherlands A will lock horns against Ireland Wolves for three unofficial 50-over matches. All matches will take place at the Oakhill Cricket Club in Wicklow. The tour commences on May 10, with the visitors being exempted from a mandatory quarantine.
The Wolves faced a challenging series earlier this year against Bangladesh A in the subcontinent. On the other hand, the Netherlands side hasn’t played an ODI game since 2019. This home series against the Netherlands will be a different environment for the players as it will help the Wolves with some game time ahead of their international season.
Their performances will come in handy and help them in the hunt for being on the radar for national selectors.
For Ireland Wolves, the likes William Porterfield and George Dockrell, alongside Harry Tecotor leading the side, will provide strong leadership. Ireland Wolves have also added 17-year-old batsman Tim Tector to their squad following his List A debut for Leinster Lightning.

Stephan Myburgh and Vikram Singh go head to head for a place at the top of the batting order whilst HCC’s Musa Ahmad is expected to break into the XI after being a standout performer during the domestic season.
This series will prove to be a crucial one for the side and will serve as a selection basis for their upcoming series against Scotland.
