3 players RCB might retain despite the cricketers warming the bench in IPL 2025

RCB was brilliant in IPL 2025, and hence, they did not have to do a lot of changes in the playing XI. Hence, a few players had to spend a lot of time on the bench. Here, we take a look at the list of three players RCB might retain despite the cricketers warming the bench in IPL 2025.

1) Rasikh Salam Dar

Rasikh played the first two games and then had to be on the bench. Yet, RCB is likely to retain him despite Rasikh having an expensive price tag. The J&K cricketer has good potential and could be a fine talent for the future. Anyways, RCB needs a backup in the pace department.

2) RCB could retain Nuwan Thushara despite the player warming the bench in IPL 2026

The Sri Lankan cricketer played just one game and was very impressive. While he is not a direct backup for Josh Hazlewood, Nuwan offers different skills to the team. On a day when RCB needs to add muscle to the bowling attack, they could prefer to have Nuwan, as well, in the squad.

3) Manoj Bhandage

It is more about him being a pace-bowling all-rounder that RCB could retain him. He has not got a lot of chances so far but if Manoj can do well at the domestic level in the coming months, RCB could trust him.
