A few squads will have to make some major changes before the next season. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three teams which could sack their Head Coach before IPL 2026.
1) Kolkata Knight Riders
While he did win the league in IPL 2024, the credit often goes to Gautam Gambhir. Nevertheless, being a veteran domestic coach, Chandrakant Pandit has not brought much to KKR, especially when it comes to local talent. KKR might now look at a modern T20 coach with fresher ideas.
2) Lucknow Super Giants is one of the teams which could sack their Head Coach before IPL 2026
Ever since Justin Langer has joined LSG, the team has not reached the playoffs. Some of his tactics and picks at the auctions were also not great. In this regard, LSG could try to change a few things in the backroom. A new Head Coach could change the atmosphere on the side.
3) Delhi Capitals
Although DC started well, later they faltered. Much of this is due to the tactics of the management. It will be harsh on Hemang Badani but it is better if DC hires someone with more experience at the highest level.
