CSK tried to sign many Indian pacers in the recent auctions. Of course, it is not a guarantee that they could have signed these players if they had put in one extra bid. The competing team could have also come back then. Nevertheless, on that note, here, we take a look at the list of five Indian pacers CSK could have signed for IPL 2025 if they had bid just one more time.
1) Deepak Chahar
Deepak Chahar was surprisingly on the wishlist for CSK yet again. Despite having a limited purse, CSK was ready to spend a lot for him. However, Mumbai Indians were also desperate for such an impactful new-ball bowler.
2) Kuldeep Sen
An under-rated cricketer, Kuldeep Sen does well with his pace. He can be used as an enforcer. Punjab Kings eventually signed the cricketer.
3) Tushar Deshpande could have been one of the pacers for CSK in IPL 2025
Tushar Deshpande did well for CSK in the last two seasons. Hence, CSK went hard for him. Rajasthan Royals needed an Indian pacer and hence, they signed the Mumbai cricketer.
4) Gurnoor Brar
A highly-rated cricketer, Gurnoor Brar was a target for CSK. Gujarat Titans were also forging a pace battery and they wanted Brar more than CSK. He is one of the Indian pacers CSK could have signed for IPL 2025 if they had bid just one more time.
5) Simarjeet Singh
Simarjeet Singh did well in flashes in CSK. He hits the deck hard and bowls with good pace, as well. Hence, CSK wanted to get him back to the franchise.
