2 changes India could make for the third T20I now that the series is won

India’s T20I Team is now in top form. Despite being in trouble at the end of the powerplay, the young Indian stars pulled the team back into the driver’s position. At Delhi, the men in blue managed to defeat Bangladesh, thereby winning the series. The final and the third T20I will happen in Hyderabad on October 12th. Gautam Gambhir and Suryakumar Yadav could consider making a few changes for this match. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of two changes India could make for the third T20I now that the series is won.

1) Harshit Rana for Mayank Yadav

Even before Mayank Yadav was selected for the Indian Team, Harshit Rana was selected. However, Harshit is yet to play for India till now. He has been waiting for his India cap for a long time now. The KKR man deserves an opportunity and could replace Mayank Yadav, whose workload needs to be managed well.

That said, KKR fans might not want Harshit to make his debut. He is an uncapped cricketer now and that will enable the franchise to retain him at just INR 4 Crores. If Harshit makes his debut before October 31st, he will be considered as a capped cricketer.

2) Tilak Varma for Sanju Samson

Tilak Varma for Sanju Samson is one of the changes India could make for the third T20I now that the series is won. Sanju Samson is not making the best use of the opportunities he is getting. Hence, he could be dropped for the next game.

India could offer a chance to Tilak Varma, who will be playing at his home ground. It needs to be noted that Tilak started out as an opener. It was only at Mumbai Indians that he started playing in the middle order. Hence, it will be interesting to see him take up the role again.
