Liv Morgan Says She Has Retired Former WWE Women’s World Champion

Becky Lynch has been credited as one of the biggest WWE superstars of this generation. At WWE King & Queen of the Ring, The Man lost her WWE Women’s World Championship to her rival, Liv Morgan, igniting a fierce determination to reclaim her title.

She once again challenged Morgan to a rematch on the RAW following that. But despite her efforts, Becky was once again on the losing end. With The Man absent since that night and her WWE contract also expiring recently, a current champion confidently boasted that she sent Lynch into retirement.

On the May 27 edition of RAW, Becky Lynch failed to reclaim the WWE Women’s World Championship against Liv Morgan in a steel cage match. Following that, her current WWE deal also expired, and she has now become a free agent.

Has Liv Morgan ended the WWE career of Becky Lynch?

In a new Twitter post by USA network celebrating the 10th anniversary of Lynch’s debut in NXT, Morgan took a jab at The Man. The USA Network praised her as one of the biggest WWE superstars in the industry. Liv Morgan, however, used this milestone to emphasize her victory over Lynch, tweeting,

“She was until I retired her 😇.”

Becky Lynch’s departure from WWE sparked numerous speculations about her plans. Recent reports indicate that The Man is exploring various opportunities outside the wrestling ring. However, the possibility of Lynch returning to WWE cannot be ruled out, considering her long tenure and her husband, Seth Rollins, is still with the company.

Only time will tell if Becky Lynch will return to WWE to reclaim the top spot in the global juggernaut. Until then, Liv Morgan’s reign as Women’s World Champion continues to thrive, with the added narrative of potentially ending the career of one of WWE’s biggest stars and being in the limelight for her recent storyline with Dominik Mysterio and Judgment Day.
