Triple H has been wreaking havoc as the content head of the WWE and as things stand, after a long time in WWE, the fans got to witness the arrival of masked men, one aspect of the WWE that has always been intriguing. So who was at the receiving end of the beatdown this time? Well, the Almighty, Bobby Lashley.
On the latest episode of WWE SmackDown, Bobby Lashley was up against Santos Escobar in the semi-final of the tournament that will determine the contender for the WWE United States Championship that is now being held by Logan Paul.
Kevin Owens made the cut for the grand finale defeating Carmelo Hayes in another semi-final while Lashley and Escobar went toe-to-toe with each other in a pulsating slugfest. However, just when it felt that the former WWE champion, Lashley will clinch the ticket to the finale, things went horribly wrong for the champion as there were two masked assailants letting all hell loose upon the muscle man.

Hitting Escobar with a running shoulder block before sending him face first into the turnbuckle, Lashley almost confirmed a victory. This was also followed by a series of punches and a couple of belly-to-belly suplexes.
Escobar left Lashley startled with an enzuigri but the latter pulled off a remarkable turnaround, display his brutal power as he hit Escobar face-first onto the ring again. Just when Lashley was setting up the win for himself with a massive spinebuster, a couple of masked men came out of the audience and started inflicting some serious payload on the Street Profits.
As the Almighty was distracted, Santos used to his advantage and pinned him for a win, that confirmed his place in the grand finale of the tournament where he will be confronting Owens for the win. The masked men later revealed their identity as Angel Garza and Humero Carrilo as we look on.
