Punjab Kings surprisingly released Shahrukh Khan ahead of the IPL 2024 Auctions. It was a shocking decision considering PBKS needed an Indian player in that role. 1) Chennai Super Kings
CSK is desperate for a player to replace Ambati Rayudu. With a good purse, CSK can afford to break the bank to sign the Tamil Nadu man. The move would also please the local fans, who would want to have a homegrown player in the team.
Anyways, CSK needs a player of Shahrukh’s attribute in the team. His finishing abilities can complement the likes of Ravindra Jadeja and MS Dhoni. The raw power in him can be used to clear grounds in Chepauk where run-scoring can get difficult.
