Drew McIntyre stunned the WWE fans on RAW as he decided to join The Judgment Day. On the most recent episode of Monday night RAW, McIntyre interfered in the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship match between The Judgment Day and Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso.
During the closing moments of the match, Drew McIntyre hit a Claymore kick to Jey Uso in the ringside area. The help from McIntyre ensured that the Judgment Day retained the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship. As RAW went off air, McIntyre went near the entrance area and shook Rhea Ripley’s hand.
It looks like McIntyre will be the fifth member of Team Judgment Day at the WarGames match on the WWE Survivor Series 2023 match card. The show will happen next weekend, and now Team Cody Rhodes needs a fifth member.
Talking about McIntyre’s heel turn, the Scottish Warrior embracing his dark side was a long time in the making. He was frustrated with Sami Zayn and Jey Uso for their previous involvement in The Bloodline. Next, Cody Rhodes annoyed him by bringing Jey to Monday night RAW.
At WWE Crown Jewel 2023 earlier this month, McIntyre lost a World Heavyweight Championship match against Seth Rollins, which further made him angry. This anger eventually led to his heel turn.
Fans think Drew McIntyre must bring back his old theme song now
McIntyre had one of the best theme songs in WWE during his previous stint with the company. It was titled ‘Broken Dreams’, and a part of that song was used for his grand entrance at WWE Clash at the Castle 2022 ahead of his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match against Roman Reigns in Wales.
