The Rock’s return to WWE Smackdown, brought in massive numbers which shot their rating through the roofs and even brought the roof down. It was a moment for WWE in Denver where people expected that Rock may turn up with pretty decent showdowns in the near future. Talks of WWE having a meeting with the Rock about the future ideas was also on the table.

But the concrete reports that remain solid at the moment, the Rock will most likely be not returning to WWE in the near future. As far as the statement published by the media houses, it was just an one-off for Dwayne Johnson and there are no plans of him returning to the industry in the near future.
Going by the report of Ringside News, it stated, “The Rock is always going to want rumors out there about him, so that it appears as though there’s all this desire for him to headline, which he thinks increases his value.”
However, Ringside News also reported that all the anticipations of Dwayne Johnson returning to Wrestlemania is pretty lame because he is not going to be a part of the showdown unless there is some late development.
