As Kurt Angle pointed it out in his podcast that Roman Reigns has been the champion for too long and WWE now needs to start thinking about their strategies of shuffling the belts in the various hands of the champions. As the rumors go strong and with the upcoming grandiose events of the WWE coming up coupled with the WWE Draft, you may not know what can be on the horizon.
With so many names flying wildly in the air that who is going to be the next WWE Undisputed champion, there are a few names that are heavier over the others and this is exactly what the WWE Universe has been discussing about. Here are five names who can challenge Roman Reigns for the WWE Undisputed Championship in the near future.
#1 Seth Rollins
With Becky Lynch obviously making a huge hint at the return of the Rollins-Reigns rivalry back to the fore, the WWE Universe have been pretty perked up for this insane contest.
Two crowd favourites, Reigns and Rollins can turn the Universe in an absolute frenzy as their wrestling styles are contrasting and both have been a part of the similar faction called the Shield formerly. If these two collide in the ring, expect nothing less than the roof to come off.
#2 Cody Rhodes
The American Nightmare have been distracted by the Brock Lesnar deviation, but it is needless to say that he is undoubtedly one of the true contenders of the title, considering his popularity and his wrestling skills. He in fact showed it to the world in WrestleMania that he was worth every single penny of the shot. Now with Lesnar on the horizon, if Cody manages to beat Brock, then the world wouldn’t find a more worthy contender than the big man.
#3 Damian Priest
Despite the brands being different now, with the WWE Draft coming forward, if the Archer of Infamy and Reigns come to a similar roster, then a matchup between these two would be absolutely worth waiting for.
Damian Priest has similar strength to that of Reigns and the two can kickstart a rivalry to remember. Particularly with the rise of Priest in recent times, a title shot for the big man with two heels colliding, well you never know what happens next.
#4 Brock Lesnar
The Beast Incarnate may have lost the rights for the title until Reigns is in possession of the same but we have seen crazier change in storylines, and you never know with Lesnar already in the frame attacking Cody, this may very well turn out to be a triple threat fight between Lesnar, Cody and Roman.
More importantly, it has been a while since Lesnar has held a belt and now that he is a full timer in the roster, well, expect him to pull off everything crazy.
#5 Solo Sikoa
The Enforcer of the Bloodline has obviously been an eclipsing presence in the ring and so far he has been somewhat masterminded by Roman Reigns. We have seen one’s own brother turning on the other in WWE so why not Sikoa turning his attention for a title shot against Reigns.
The relations in the Bloodline has been frayed of late and with the Usos continuously being threatened by Reigns and Heyman, with Sikoa coming to their aid in their matches, recently, we may very well see a new Bloodline with a new chief and that is the Enforcer.
