Coming to the match, India won the toss and opted to field first. They left out the likes of Prithvi Shaw, Yuzvendra Chahal, Jitesh Sharma and Mukesh Kumar for the first game, giving a nod ahead to Shubman Gill and Kuldeep Yadav.
