Indian leg-spinner Kuldeep Yadav talked about his performance in the ongoing first Test against Bangladesh. He said that although the didn’t get his fifty but is happy with the way he batted and managed 40 runs.

In what has been his comeback match after nearly 2 years, Kuldeep Yadav made full use of the opportunity. Not only with the ball, but he was also right up there in the ranks with the bat as he played a decent knock that helped India post a total of 404 runs on the board.
Kuldeep played a handy knock of 40 runs and stitched a crucial 92-run partnership with R Ashwin, who scored a half-century. It’s fair to say that he batted a lot better than top-order batters and frustrated Bangladesh bowlers with his rock-solid technique.
While many were all praise for his batting performance, he came with a sensational bowling performance as he picked a five-wicket haul. He came into the attack in 25th over and it didn’t take him much longer to make his presence felt as he removed Shakib-al Hasan for 3 runs.

After that, he exhibited his skills wonderfully as he made the Bangladesh batter struggle with his variations in flight, sharp turn and wrong ‘uns. Kuldeep then struck three times in 12 balls, removing Mushfiqur Rahim, Nurul Hasan and Taijul Islam, which saw the opposition tumbling at 102/8.
He ended Day 2 on high as he bagged a four-wicket haul. However, he completed his unfinished job on Day 3 as he removed Ebadot Hussain to claim the fifer. Thanks to his bowling effort, India bundled out Bangladesh for 150 runs, taking the lead of 254 runs.
