Umran Malik breathes fire in the ongoing second ODI against Bangladesh
If grabbing the opportunity with both hands is an art, it’s fair to say that Umran Malik is a Picasso of it. The pacer was not a part of the squad initially but the injury to Mohammad Shami made the BCCI draft into the side.
Umran missed the first match and not many expected him to start the second game. But an unfortunate injury to Kuldeep Sen after a decent debut, paved way for Jammu & Kashmir pacer to be in the side. And it’s fair to say that he has made justice to the change made by India.
Umran Malik has been breathing fire for India in the ongoing second ODI against Bangladesh in Dhaka. He came into the attack in 11 overs and made Shakib Al Hasan look clueless with his pace the entire over. The fast bowler made the all-rounder dance and wobble with his pace, beating edges and hitting some lusty blows on the head with over 150 kmph.

After bowling a staggering maiden over, Umran then started his second over with a wicket. He sent the off-stump cartwheeling at 151kmph. He bowled a Jaffa to Najmul Hossain Shanto (21) to uproot his off-stump. He bowled a good length delivery to which the batter tried to push a drive into the off-side and was all hands in the process and the ball went to rattle the stumps.
However, he didn’t stick just as after that he bowled another over. In his first 5 overs, he conceded just 8 runs and bowled 2 maiden overs.
