Starting from December 4th, India will take on Bangladesh in three ODI fixtures. Based on the squad that has been selected, it is clear that the management is willing to experiment with a few ideas in this series. In this regard, we could see a few cricketers make their debut against Bangladesh. On that note, here, we take a look at three players who could make their debut in the India vs Bangladesh ODI Series.
1) Kuldeep Sen
Yash Dayal was initially selected for the series but because of his injury, Kuldeep Sen was drafted into the squad. The Madhya Pradesh cricketer did well in IPL 2022 and has been in good form since then.
With 18 wickets in 6 games, Kuldeep finished as the third-highest wicket-taker in Vijay Hazare Trophy 2022. For the 2022 T20 World Cup, India hesitantly named Mohammed Shami as the replacement after Jasprit Bumrah was injured. If a similar situation happens, there need to be many options available. Hence, Kuldeep Sen could be given a chance in this context.
2) Rajat Patidar could make his debut in the India vs Bangladesh ODI Series

India has a lot of options for the middle order. Virat Kohli at No.3 and Hardik Pandya in the lower order are the only spots that give confidence. The rest of the slots are still open.
Although Shreyas Iyer will be likely to occupy the No.4 role, the management could have someone give competition to him. Rajat Patidar has been in good form since IPL 2022. He has an effective game against spinners and hence, might fancy a chance against Bangladesh.
3) Rahul Tripathi
Rahul Tripathi is one of the players who could make their debut in the India vs Bangladesh ODI Series. Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan will start as the openers for Team India. The team needs aggressive cricketers at the top and hence, Rahul Tripathi fits the bill.
The Maharashtra man has been travelling with the Indian Team for a long time now. Yet, the debut is yet to come for him. However, that streak could end in the upcoming series. If India wins the series in the first two games, it won’t be a surprise if Rahul Tripathi gets a chance in the XI.
