Cricket Ireland gave a hilarious reply to former English cricketer Ravi Bopara, who said that there’s only one team that can actually challenge England and that is Pakistan. Notably, Ireland thumped England in the league stage of the T20 World Cup 2022.

After getting eliminated in the semi-final last year, England has made it into the final of the T20 World Cup 2022. The Jos Buttler-led side has displayed a magnificent performance in the tournament so far and is only one step away from glory.
Things didn’t go in their favour during the league stage as first Ireland defeated them by the DLS method due to rain and then their game against Australia was washed out. However, they stood against all the odds and kept the belief to win all the remaining games and make it into the semi-finals.
It was expected that they would find it tough in the semi-final against India. But this wasn’t the case as they thrashed the Men in Blue by 10 wickets and qualified for the final that will be played on Sunday (13th November) between them and Pakistan.
As England qualified for the final to face Pakistan at MCG, Ravi Bopara lavished rich praise on the Jos Buttler-led side and said that if there is any team who could challenge England it is Pakistan. Taking to his Twitter account, he said:
