Former AEW Superstar and member of the Undisputed Elite, Bobby Fish left the promotion at the end of his deal in August. He rose to prominence in NXT and as a member of the Undisputed Era stable alongside Adam Cole, Kyle O Reilly, and Roderick Strong.
Fish switched sides to WWE’s rival promotion, All Elite Wrestling back in October 2021 making his debut in the Land of All Elite, and spent the remainder of his AEW career with his former WWE allies, Cole and O Reilly who followed suit to the company, as a part of the Undisputed Elite being a part of many singles and mostly tag team matches.

Will Adam Cole ask for his AEW release?
Bobby Fish at the realm of his AEW departure reportedly wanted to set his foot outside the door with his former teammates.
According to Ryan Frederick of Wrestling Observer, noted on his site’s message board, the former AEW talent was reportedly trying to persuade both Adam Cole and Kyle O Reilly to also ask for their AEW releases and leave the company together potentially to join back WWE. But he was turned down by both of his former stablemates and chose to stay back in Tony Khan’s promotion. Ryan said:
“I posted it in the Bobby Fish thread but I know Fish was trying to get them to Cole and Kyle to ask for their releases to go back to WWE and they both told him no. Itโs possible Cole may have clued Tony [Khan] in.”

Despite showing keen interest to join the new creative regime of WWE led by his former boss, WWE Chief Content Office Triple H, stating that he would “go to war for him seven days a week”, Fish made a shocking debut at IMPACT Wrestling’s pay-per-view, Victory Road cutting his first promo for the company and indicating that he wasn’t there for any nonsense and that he could not be fired because he did not work for IMPACT yet.
