WWE television product have been completely revitalized ever since former WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon stepped away from his corporate duties and took voluntary retirement amidst various allegations relating to misconduct and misuse of company funds.
The new management led by his daughter Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan as Co-CEOs and Triple H leading the charge as Head of Creative has completely changed the complexion of the company with a ‘New WWE’ looking to thrive in the future.
Another exciting change seen has been the drastic shift of match cards and presentation of special shows termed as WWE pay-per-views. The schedule of 2022 has already been exciting starting from WWE SummerSlam showing various shades of the famous Attitude Era in terms of the TV product and the return of Superstars such as Bayley, Edge, and Dakota Kai.
The action spanned over the next month with NXT HeatWave featuring exciting action from the rising stars of WWE’s developmental territory like Bron Breakker, Mandy Rose, Santos Escobar, and Carmelo Hayes and culminated the month with WWE’s first stadium show in the United Kingdom in nearly three decades featuring top stars of the main roster compete in this extravagant event headlined by Roman Reigns defeating the hometown hero Drew McIntyre

The next time WWE comes to pay-per-view will be WWE Extreme Rules on October 8th at Wells Fargo Center, Pennsylvania, Philadelphia.
Following the Extreme Rules PPV, WWE will be giving a dual PPV action, firstly returning to Saudi Arabia for WWE Crown Jewel on November 5th in Riyadh and one time of the year when RAW and Smackdown will battle in head-to-head competition at the annual WWE Survivor Series taking place on November 26th at the TD Garden in Boston.
