The road to WWE Clash at the Castle goes through an exciting edition of WWE RAW emanating tonight (Aug 22, 2022) from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This week features the return of Canada’s own WWE Legend Trish Stratus to live television, Edge’s first match after 12 years in his hometown of Toronto against Judgment Day member Damien Priest, Alexa Bliss and Asuka taking on the team of IYO Sky and Dakota Kai in the semi-finals of the WWE Women’s Tag Team championships and much more.
Adding fuel to the fire of this unprecedented Monday Night RAW could be some extra surprises for the Toronto fans in the Scotiabank Arena. Here are four possible surprises for This Week’s RAW:
1. KO Champion
Kevin Owens recently returned to WWE programming and made his intentions clear that he wants to claim championship gold after not being a champion for nearly 5 years. This could see Owens answering a potential open challenge from current United States champion, The Almighty Bobby Lashley and picking up a huge win in front of his home country fans.

Edge is set to take on Damien Priest on this edition of RAW, with other members of Judgement possibly looming to attack the Rated-R Superstar right after the match and that’s when Edge’s calvary would arrive in the form of his wife, The Glamazon Beth Pheonix makes her surprise return to battle the odds by her husband’s side.
3. Toxic Attraction invades
The team of Gigi Dollin and Jacy Jayne made their debut on Smackdown this past week picking up a huge win in the Women’s Tag Team title tournament. They could journey over to WWE RAW this week along with their leader and current NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose after the end of another tournament match laying waste to all and putting the entire women’s division on notice.

As announced, Trish Stratus returns to Monday Night RAW this week so the WWE Universe could see the unexpected Stratusfaction. The fans have seen Trish as a Babyface for a long time, so an unexpected turn could see Trish cost Asuka and Alexa Bliss their match against the heel tag team of IYO Sky and Dakota Kai berating her own hometown crowd of Toronto.
