“I Knew He Was Going To Be Something”, Former Ring Announcer Opened Up On His Initial Expression About Roman Reigns

Erstwhile WWE star, Ricardo Rodriguez opened up about his early belief that he thought that tribal chief didn’t have what it takes to kiss the apex that he is currently basking in. He also confessed that Roman Reigns being the head of the table also makes it best for business as WWE has plugged his mic skills with Paul Heyman and the Rock’s kin knows exactly how to pit things in a place in the ring.

The Tribal Chief is going through a dream run where he has kept the championship for himself with more than 700 plus days. He bagged the belt around his waist back in the PPV called Payback in the year where the pandemic started. He has since then been on a roll and every single challenger who dared to take on him since then has lost their battles, featuring the glorious moniker of Brock Lesnar.

Here is what Ricardo had to say about Roman Reigns

In an interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling, the former WWE announcer expressed that he always had faith in the fact that Reigns is going to walk a mile with the company but he wasn’t sure whether the former Shield member would actually get a title run.

Talking about his earlier opinions, he was heard quoting, “I’ll be honest, at the time I knew he was gonna be something because he looked great. I mean, it is what it is, you know, the family that he comes from. So he has a natural ability. Did I think to me, he was the top dog and no pun intended, the top guy in WWE? I probably didn’t believe. I didn’t know.”

He concluded by saying that how happy he is for the big man given his incredible journey right from the FCW days to the current mantle that he holds. Ricardo underlined it quite a few times that no matter the situation, Roman never shies away from a challenge and some inasne hard yards outside the ring.
