This statistic shows how excellent the glovework of MS Dhoni has been. The wicket-keeper has only given away 84 runs in the form of byes while keeping for the IPL franchises in 14 seasons. He has played around 200 games and kept the wickets in the most of them, showing how excellent he has been with his glovework.

This is the first time ever in the history of the Indian Premier League that the Chennai Super Kings are playing a match, and MS Dhoni is not the captain. Just two days before IPL 2022, Dhoni decided to step down as the captain of the Chennai Super Kings team. He handed over the reins of the team to Ravindra Jadeja.

“We use the expression “end of an era” very loosely sometimes. But Dhoni giving up the captaincy of @ChennaiIPL is truly the end of an era for all those loyal fans with whom he forged a relationship of the kind very few have,” Harsha Bhogle tweeted reacting to Dhoni’s decision.

It seems that Dhoni is enjoying his batting now as he scored a fifty for the Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2022 against KKR.
