The global phenomenon of Professional Wrestling, WWE is famous for some of the best shows in not only their home field of the United States but on foreign shores as well. Some fans are always thinking when will the next WWE show in India happen?

Some of the notable WWE events to take place outside the USA includes Crown Jewel and Super-Showdown in Saudi Arabia, another edition of Super-Showdown in Melbourne, Australia, a yearly European tour in major countries like Germany, France, Italy, and many other shows in their neighboring country of Canada.

1. Indira Gandhi Stadium, Delhi

The only stadium to have a long history of hosting past WWE events for India is the famous Indira Gandhi Stadium in New Delhi. Out of the 7 live events hosted in the country, 4 have been hosted in the largest indoor sporting arena in India and among the largest in Asia.

The past editions of WWE Live events hosted in the stadium include the first show of the 3-city WWE RAW tour in 2002, a two-day event in 2016 as a part of WWE Live India, and one day WWE Super show edition in 2017.

Considered the largest stadium in the world with a seating capacity of 132,000 spectators, situated inside the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Sports Enclave in Ahmedabad, India, and named after one of the greatest political leaders and current Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, the namesake stadium could be the spectacular location to host a high magnitude WWE pay-per-view show for the Indian audience.
