5 Possible Surprises Which Could Happen On This Week’s WWE RAW Episode (September 26, 2022)

The road to the most extreme WWE premium live event of the year, Extreme Rules is approaching its destination taking place on October 8 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, being the first Extreme Rules event to take place in the month of October. The next stop on the road to Extreme Rules is WWE RAW in Edmonton.

So far, three matches have been made official for the WWE Extreme Rules 2022 match card. Liv Morgan will defend her SmackDown Women’s Championship against her arch-rival Ronda Rousey with extreme rules stipulation. Riddle will battle Seth Rollins in a Fight Pit, and Drew McIntyre and Karrion Kross will look to settle their score in a physically tormenting Strap match.

As this week’s WWE RAW approaches ahead of the Extreme Rules show, here are 5 possible surprises we can see on this week’s edition of the flagship show:

1. Edge and Rey Mysterio help Riddle against Judgment Day and Seth Rollins on WWE RAW

Matt Riddle is set to face Judgment Day member Damian Priest on this week’s edition of RAW and with other members of the faction possibly ringside, The Original Bro could find himself outnumbered by the demonic group and their beatdown could be joined by Riddle’s opponent at Extreme Rules, Seth Rollins.

This could see Rey Mysterio and a returning Edge run to make the save for Riddle possibly setting up a huge 6-man tag team match on the next RAW, one week before WWE Extreme Rules.

2. Gargano and Kevin Owens set eyes on WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championships

Two of the biggest stars produced by WWE’S developmental territory, WWE NXT are set to team up on tonight’s edition of RAW as Johnny Gargano and The Prize Fighter Kevin Owens takes on the Alpha Academy in a must-watch classic wrestling bout.

After delivering a stellar performance, a surprise turn could see Owens and Gargano deciding to join forces as a cohesive unit moving forward and aim at capturing the Undisputed WWE Tag Team titles in the future signaling the beginning of a brand-new tag team in the division.

3. Omos challenges Bobby Lashley for WWE Extreme Rules

After Bobby Lashley managed to defeat Seth Rollins last week on RAW to retain the WWE United States Championship, jhe could brag over his glorious victory over a top-tier talent like Rollins, until being interrupted by the titan Omos who has been destroying competition for weeks and could be looking to ascend to the next level by challenging The All Mighty to a title match at WWE Extreme Rules.

4. Dexter Lumis’ mind games continue with The Miz on WWE RAW

For weeks and weeks, The Miz has been the victim of Dexter Lumis’ tormenting mind games wearing down The Awesome One both physically and emotionally.

He could take his mental tactic to another level continuing the mental torture until The Miz breaks out and snaps to track down Lumis and challenging him to a physically torturing match to settle their score once and for all at Extreme Rules.

5. Winner take all match announced for WWE Extreme Rules 2022

Damage Ctrl has been justifying their faction name causing havoc and wreckage over the entire Women’s Division both on RAW and Smackdown.

With Extreme Rules just 2 weeks away, Monday Night RAW this week can see the faction’s latest victims i.e., RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair, Raquel Rodriguez, and Shotzi join forces and challenge Bayley and her teammates, the current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions IYO Sky and Dakota Kai to a huge 6-woman tag team match with a Winner Take all stipulation putting the RAW Women’s and Tag Team titles at stake.
