5 Possible Surprises Which Could Happen On This Week’s WWE RAW Episode (September 12, 2022)

WWE is moving full steam ahead towards their next pay-per-view, WWE Extreme Rules taking place at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on October 8. Ever since WWE Clash at the Castle came to a close last week, we saw the shocking return of a former top Superstar, Braun Strowman on WWE RAW.

Giovanni Vinci joined his former cohorts, current WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser to reform the Imperium and the dynamic NXT rising star Solo Sikoa playing a decisive role in the outcome of the Clash at the Castle main event between Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre to help his Uce retain the titles and officially join his family as the newest member of The Bloodline.

With WWE witnessing so much change on the road to the one night where everything is Extreme, here are 5 possible surprises we can see on this week’s edition of WWE RAW:

1. Who is Johnny Gargano’s opponent for this week’s WWE RAW?

This week, fans will witness Johnny Gargano who recently made his return to the WWE make his in-ring comeback on Monday Night RAW. We last saw Johnny Wrestling battle inside a WWE ring back in December 2021 at NXT War Games as a member of Team Black and Gold against Team 2.0.

The question surrounds who Gargano battle will, the answer seems simple – Austin Theory. Johnny laid out his former ‘The Way’ stablemate on his first night back in the WWE indicating his intentions to go solo this time and he could begin that singles run with a huge win over The Blue-Chip prospect.

2. Solo Sikoa could stun the world on WWE RAW

As mentioned above, Solo Sikoa is the newest member of The Bloodline. It is befitting that he needs to hold the gold like the other members to match their presence and domination.

This week on RAW, fans could see Jimmy and Jey’s younger brother start his quest for gold by dethroning current WWE United States Champion Bobby Lashley and adding another title to The Bloodline to make an impression that winning and being champion runs in the family.

3. Bayley’s pursuit begins

Much like we saw a number 1 contender match for the Smackdown Women’s Championship this past week on Smackdown, a similar scenario to see the emergence of a challenger for Bianca Belair’s RAW Women’s Championship.

The most logical opponent seems to be the Role Model Bayley, coming off a huge win at WWE Clash at the Castle for her team over Bianca’s team building up the momentum in an attempt to dethrone Belair at WWE Extreme Rules.

4. Dominik picks a huge win on WWE RAW

Dominik Mysterio’s shocking betrayal and aligning himself with The Judgment Day faction was a massive shocker coming out of WWE Clash at the Castle.

This week on RAW, fans could see the beginning of his own singles run in a big way by defeating WWE Hall of Famer Edge, who would also be looking to exact revenge for the low blow suffered at the hands of Mysterio Jr. in the United Kingdom.

5. The Monster and The Warrior

Braun Strowman’s resurgence back into the WWE could see him align with his former stable mate Drew McIntyre and challenge The Usos for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships.

The Scottish Warrior is still looking to take out the Bloodline for all assaults and attacks leading up to the road to the UK pay-per-view and keeping him away from winning the biggest match of his life in Cardiff, so teaming up with The Monster Among Men and snatching the tag titles would the first step in his long road to redemption.
