5 Matches WWE Could Add To SummerSlam 2022 Card

WWE SummerSlam 2022 will take place on July 30 at the Nissan Stadium in Tennessee. It is the fourth stadium show for WWE this year, having hosted Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, and WrestleMania 38 at stadiums in 2022.

Last year, the company hosted SummerSlam at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, and it was one of the best premium live events in recent history. Big names like Brock Lesnar and Becky Lynch returned to the company, while Roman Reigns and John Cena starred in the main event.

So far, WWE has announced two matches for SummerSlam – Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar and Pat McAfee vs. Happy Corbin. In this article now, we will look at the five matches WWE could add for the biggest party of summer in 2022.

1. Liv Morgan vs Ronda Rousey may happen at SummerSlam 2022

Liv Morgan pinned Ronda Rousey to become the new SmackDown Women’s Champion. As per reports, WWE is planning the rematch between the two Superstars for the SummerSlam show on July 30.

2. Bianca Belair vs Becky Lynch may happen at SummerSlam 2022

Bianca Belair lost her title to Becky Lynch at SummerSlam last year. This year, Becky is on a downward spiral, but she recently beat Asuka on RAW. It should not be a surprise if WWE book another match between Bianca and Becky to end their rivalry.

3. Gunther vs Sami Zayn may happen at SummerSlam 2022

After failing to win Money in the Bank, Sami Zayn will look to add more gold to the Bloodline by chasing the Intercontinental Championship. A match between Gunther and Sami could steal the show.

4. Theory vs John Cena

Rumors have claimed that Theory and John Cena may cross paths on the road to SummerSlam. Surprisingly, WWE has not yet confirmed this match for the biggest party of summer.

5. Bobby Lashley vs Veer Mahaan

WWE should book a clash of the titans at SummerSlam, with new US Champion Bobby Lashley taking on the in-form Veer Mahaan. This match will be unpredictable and exciting to watch.
