In less than a few hours, WWE Crown Jewel 2023 will be upon us and we simply can’t wait to see the madness that is all set to unfurl. There are a host of big matches coming up and anyone can create an upset with the most major one dangling above the throat of Roman Reigns as it always does.
However, when we talk about PPVs, surprises are a core part of it and believe this or not but it is always fun to have some surprises in store. With all said and done, here are five surprises that we maybe in for at the WWE Crown Jewel.
#1 LA Knight beats Roman Reigns
This may be a result of one of the matches and so what is the surprise element in this? Well, being honest, knowing the trajectory of the storyline, it’s still a while since WWE actually puts an end to this story. Maybe had it been a match without the titles involved then there could have been a possibility that Roman may have been defeated but with the titles in it, if LA Knight actually dethrones Roman, that is a surprise.
#2 As Solo Sikoa attempts to pin Cena after the spike, CM Punk’s music hits
A polarizing start in terms of his identity, who is hated and loved by the WWE Universe, CM Punk, may be in for a WWE return. Just as Solo Sikoa hits the Samoan Spike on Cena and attempts to pin him, Punk’s music hits and the WWE Universe goes berserk. A new chapter for Solo Sikoa and most importantly a refreshing break for the Bloodline.
#3 LA Knight gets run over by Bron Breakker
Earlier Paul Heyman has sided with Breakker and with Knight coming in after Reigns, it would be a nice surprise to see that Breakker actually gets his WWE debut on Crown Jewel. Going by his stature, he can bring buildings down upon Knight and there would be no one to do Yeah to that.
#4 While Damian Priest lines up for the Razor’s Edge to Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton’s music hits
Another return that may be on the cards is that of the Viper and while Damian Priest plans to put down Cody Rhodes once and for all with Dom Dom and Rhea egging him on with that grin on their faces, it all gets dark and when the lights come back on, Randy’s music hits with Damian in utter shambles while Randy smiles from the announce table.
#5 Stephanie McMahon hits a cheap shot on Rhea Ripley from outside to make it personal ahead of Wrestlemania’s long-run up
It has been a while since we have seen Steph in action and maybe with Wrestlemania coming in, either she can take the stage as a face and hammer away at Rhea Ripley or she may actually turn Rhea face and take part in this PPV as a heel shocking almost anyone and everyone.
