RCB was interested in a few of their former players for the next season. Here, we take a look at the list of five former players RCB bid for in IPL 2025 Mega Auctions but could not sign.

Note: We have not considered players who played for RCB in IPL 2024 to arrive at this list.

1) KL Rahul

RCB was strongly in favour of KL Rahul until a point. After that, they pulled out and never came back to the race. KL Rahul joined Delhi Capitals and might event lead them.

2) Yuzvendra Chahal

Yuzvendra Chahal is one of the former players RCB targeted in IPL 2025 Mega Auctions but could not sign. The squad needed an experienced spinner and RCB bid for him. However, the money was too much for RCB to afford.

3) RCB made a bid for Mitchell Starc in IPL 2025 Mega Auctions

Mitchell Starc was one of the pacers whom RCB targeted. However, Delhi Capitals wanted a leader in the pace attack and was therefore more desperate.

4) RCB made a bid for Marcus Stoinis in IPL 2025 Mega Auctions

Marcus Stoinis is also one of the former players RCB targeted in IPL 2025 Mega Auctions but could not sign. He would have been the perfect No.6 for the side. However, Punjab Kings signed the all-rounder.

5) Karun Nair

Karun Nair is in fine form at the moment. Hence, it is not a surprise that RCB made a bid for him. Here, again, Delhi Capitals signed the cricketer.
