WWE Fastlane 2023 is just around the corner, and the predictions for the event are in full swing. The premium live event will take place this Saturday in Indianapolis.
So far, WWE has announced five matches for the show. The biggest match announced for the show is a last man standing match for the world heavyweight championship between Seth Rollins and Shinsuke Nakamura.
Fastlane promises to be an exciting event, and before the premium live event starts, here are our five bold predictions for the show.
1. WWE Fastlane 2023 predictions – Shinsuke Nakamura beats Seth Rollins
Shinsuke Nakamura has been a big threat to Seth Rollins’ world heavyweight championship. Nakamura has got a lot of attention of the fans with his unique tactics and promos. The last man standing match stipulation will favor Nakamura. It looks like he will likely win his first world title on the main roster soon.
2. WWE Fastlane 2023 predictions – Charlotte Flair surprises the world
IYO Sky will defend her WWE women’s championship in a triple threat match against Asuka and Charlotte Flair. In such matches WWE generally books Charlotte to emerge victorious. With Crown Jewel and Survivor Series approaching soon, Charlotte may win the women’s championship once again.
3. The OC costs John Cena and LA Knight a win
AJ Styles was taken out by Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa on SmackDown. While Styles was being carried away from the arena to the hospital, the OC blamed John Cena for involving Styles in a rivalry with the Bloodline. It is possible that the OC members may cause Cena and LA Knight a win at Fastlane.
4. Roman Reigns returns
Roman Reigns may make his shocking return at Fastlane and he may end the show on a shocking note by taking out John Cena. As per Dave Meltzer of the wrestling observer, Cena will challenge Roman Reigns for the undisputed WWE Universal championship at Crown Jewel. This attack may set up the match.
5. Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso win the titles
Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso will team up to challenge the Judgment Day for the undisputed WWE tag team championships. Although no one expect Rhodes and Uso to win the title, WWE can just surprise everyone by booking the unlikely team to capture the titles.
Balor and Priest have had a monotonous reign so far. It will be great if the titles go to someone who can actually bring more attention of the fans towards the division.
