WWE is approaching the culmination of yet another calendar year with nearly three months left before a new year of moments and opportunities arrives.
This year has been one of the game-changing years for the global juggernaut with some key events taking place such as the return of many former WWE Superstars namely Cody Rhodes, Braun Strowman, Johnny Gargano, and Karrion Kross.
Vince McMahon stepped down as the Chairman of the Board, new management in power led by Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan overseen by Triple H as the Head of Creative and some of the high stellar matches in the history of the WWE to name a few.

One of the biggest matches before this year culminates could feature the Rated-R Superstar Edge taking on the most formidable challenge of his entire career, The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar.
While both Superstars have been in a one-on-one encounter during their early days, they are yet to step against each other at this point in their respective careers. With Edge nearly approaching the end of his second run and Lesnar left with only a few worthy candidates to battle, this match could be a show stealer for this year.
2. Ronda Rousey vs Rhea Ripley

Ever since Dominik Mysterio betrayed his father and joined the destructive faction known as The Judgment Day undergoing a complete dark makeover under the tutelage of Rhea Ripley, fans have been hoping to see the new and darker demeanor of Mysterio jr. battle the Master of the 619 Rey Mysterio adding another high-profile match to the established list of father-son matches.
4. Johnny Gargano vs AJ Styles

Johnny Gargano made his return to the WWE last month under the new creative regime led by Triple H, and since then, fans are hoping for classic Johnny Wrestling dream matches to come to fruition.
One of those dream matches can be against The Phenomenal One AJ Styles, an equally skilled in-ring competitor, and world-class athlete. While both competitors have battled against each other in the past during Gargano’s rookie days, both RAW stars would steal the show this time with much greater legacies behind them and a big stage match awaiting Styles and Gargano.
5. Roman Reigns vs Karrion Kross
Undisputed WWE Universal Champion @WWERomanReigns will come face-to-face with @LoganPaul in a special press conference LIVE tomorrow from Las Vegas! https://t.co/7h9mcLH16T

A mid-insert rivalry that started before WWE Clash at the Castle and has not reached a decisive conclusion is between the current Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and the unorthodox Karrion Kross. T
he unconventional Superstar has been looming in the shadows ever since he made his return to the WWE, taking shots at the Tribal Chief before his showdown with Drew McIntyre in the United Kingdom. He could go on to dispatch McIntyre in their Strap match at WWE Extreme Rules and set his sights on the Head of the Table to end this year with a title opportunity firmly in his grasp.
