4 Reasons Why CM Punk Should Return To WWE One Day

CM Punk has been on a tremendous run during his second coming in the wrestling world under the upstart promotion, All Elite Wrestling making his debut in 2021 returning after seven years away from the squared circle. Since then, he has faced the likes of Darby Allin, MJF and Hangman Adam Page dethroning him to capture the AEW World Championship as well. Fans are always thinking will CM Punk ever return to WWE again.

While CM Punk seems to be content in AEW with his run so far, some believe that this doesn’t rule out a potential return to WWE in the future, especially now with the company going under massive transformation with a new regime in charge. Here are four reasons why the Best in the World can return to WWE:

1. He is a massive draw

If there is anything we know about CM Punk, he is definitely a Man of his word. His star power speaks for itself and is one of the major reasons fans tune into All Elite Wrestling every week.

Moreover, his wrestling return received one of the biggest pops in the history of professional wrestling. That seems enough credibility to negotiate a WWE return on his own terms should he decide to give another shot to the promotion he famously walked out of in 2014.

2. CM Punk can have a lot of Dream Matches if he makes his WWE return

Another potential reason that can swerve CM Punk into making his WWE return (if his love for wrestling is genuine as he claims) could be dream matches against some of the best Superstars on the active roster. Punk could have some of the greatest matches in WWE with Superstars like Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, AJ Styles, Drew McIntyre and many others wanting to step across the ring with the Best in the World.

3. Different Role

When the clock strikes on CM Punk’s second run in AEW putting his incredible career to rest, he could deliver his vast knowledge to aspirants who want to make it big in the business.

Much like he has done in the past working as an Analyst for WWE Backstage on Fox, Punk could return to a behind the scenes role in the WWE working as a coach at their Performance Center in Orlando to help the next generation of WWE Superstars.

4. CM Punk can be in the WrestleMania Main Event if he makes his WWE return

One of the biggest omissions in CM Punk’s impressive resume has to be the headlining The Showcase of the Immortals, WrestleMania in front of the entire WWE universe in attendance.

Punk’s failure to main event WrestleMania was one of the major reasons for his exit from the company, deeming his entire WWE run to be a failure in the process. If there is anything that can entice him to return to his old promotion (other than creative control and a big money contract), it would definitely be a slot in the main event of the biggest wrestling show in the world.
