4 Possible Endings To Chad Gable Vs Gunther Match Next Week On WWE RAW

Chad Gable vs Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship will take place next week on WWE RAW. Last week on RAW, Gable defeated Matt Riddle, Ricochet and Ciampa in a fatal four-way match to become the new number one contender for the Intercontinental Championship.

This week on RAW, Alpha Academy and Imperium had a confrontation. While Ludwig Kaiser got a slap from Maxxine Dupri, Gable defeated Giovanni Vinci in a singles match, and then, Gunther defeated Otis. In the closing moments of the segment, Gable hit his finisher on Gunther as the Alpha Academy stood tall.

Before the match takes place next week, here are our predictions for the four possible finishes to this Intercontinental Championship match.

1. Chad Gable vs Gunther ends in DQ, pushed to WWE Payback

WWE’s next premium live event is Payback, which will happen on September 2. The company is yet to announce any matches for the show. Perhaps, they can book the upcoming match to end with no result and announce a rematch for Payback.

2. Chad Gable earns the biggest win of his career vs Gunther

Chad Gable and his Alpha Academy are insanely over with the fans. It is the perfect time for WWE to allow him to win the Intercontinental Championship and become the new workhorse champion of RAW.

3. Gunther loses his championship because of Ludwig Kaiser

WWE may be reluctant to allow Chad Gable a clean win over Gunther. They have an option of having Ludwig Kaiser getting attracted towards Maxxine Dupri and somehow costing his own stablemate his championship.

4. Gunther beats Chad Gable

Whenever WWE fans have felt that Gunther’s reign is under threat, The Ring General has silenced his doubters and retained the Intercontinental Championship. He did that at SummerSlam, and it should not be a surprise if he repeats the same thing against Chad Gable on RAW.
