Under MS Dhoni, India have been formidable in the ICC events. MS Dhoni is the only captain in the history of the sport to have led the team to three different ICC titles (T20 World Cup 2007, ODI Cricket World Cup 2011, and Champions Trophy 2013). 4. Kapil Dev – 2 times
Kapil Dev was one of the successful captains of Team India during the playing days of his career. He drew plaudits for steering Team India to maiden ODI World Cup glory in 1983. Meanwhile, under his captaincy, Team India were skittled out below 120 runs on two occasions.
