He has revolutionized England’s Test cricket approach. The Kiwi will target to win the WTC at the earliest as that is the only trophy he can win as a Test Head Coach.

2) Gautam Gambhir – 42 Years

Gautam Gambhir stands at No.2 on this list of youngest Head Coaches in International Cricket right now. The latest appointment joins this list. Gambhir was the Mentor of KKR in IPL 2024. Before that, he had done a similar job for LSG.

Although he has no coaching experience, there is high hope for him in the Indian cricket circles. Since it was not long ago that he was playing, the top brass will hope that under him, India will adopt more fluently to the modern requirements.

To an extent, he has done a decent job. Yes, the team failed in the 2024 T20 WC but there was progress to be seen. The team’s next target will be to win the 2026 T20 World Cup.
