3 unsold Indian fast bowlers who could come back as replacement players in IPL 2024

Injuries are bound to happen in IPL. In fact, teams might already draw a list of options who could come in as replacement players. In this regard, Indian fast bowlers will be in high demand. A few might even sign up as net bowlers for the season. On that note, here, we take a look at three unsold Indian fast bowlers who could come back as replacement players in IPL 2024.

1) Sandeep Warrier

Sandeep Warrier was a part of the Mumbai Indians setup last season. He was the replacement for Jasprit Bumrah. However, he did not get enough chances to prove his skills.

However, it needs to be noted that Sandeep is a quality cricketer. He gives immense value with the new ball. With his height, he can also be relied upon to bowl two bouncers in an over. Hence, he is someone teams could have an eye on.

2) Kamlesh Nagarkoti

Kamlesh Nagarkoti is a part of this list of unsold Indian fast bowlers who could come back as replacement players in IPL 2024. It is unfortunate that a talented cricketer like Kamlesh Nagarkoti is yet to find his way in the IPL. He has had a disappointing run with bad form and injuries.

Nevertheless, with him having potential, it is all about the right environment to unshackle it. He could just do that if he can come in as a replacement player, when there would not be much expectation from him.

3) Abhilash Shetty

Hailing from Karnataka, Abhilash Shetty is a left-arm seamer who has impressed many IPL franchises. He has attended a lot of trials and has even been a part of a few sides as a net bowler.

His name came up in the auctions but no one signed him. This shows that there could be some teams interested in him. Hence, he is on this list.
