3 trade proposals from other teams that could convince CSK to trade Ravindra Jadeja

It does not seem that things are fine between Ravindra Jadeja and Chennai Super Kings. It actually would make sense for CSK to release the player in case a good offer arrives outside of the auction. Jaddu is a class act and it would take a terrific proposal to convince CSK. Here, we take a look at three trade proposals from other teams that could convince CSK to trade Ravindra Jadeja.

1) Ishan Kishan from Mumbai Indians

Ishan Kishan is a young cricketer with loads of potential. He has had his share of ups and downs but he will only get better. After MS Dhoni, CSK would need a fine wicket-keeper and Ishan is a good choice.

For MI, a leader in the spin attack is necessary. If they can get someone like Jadeja, that would be great. Leaving Ishan Kishan will be hard but there is Tilak Varma to step up and Tristan Stubbs as the wicket-keeper.

2) Jitesh Sharma + Sam Curran from Punjab Kings

Jitesh Sharma + Sam Curran from Punjab Kings is one of the trade proposals from other teams that could convince CSK to trade Ravindra Jadeja. If CSK can get a gun keeper-batter like Jitesh and their old boy Sam Curran, a deal makes sense.

In Jaddu, PBKS would get a proper option in the middle-order and a bank of three to four overs. By leaving out Harpreet Brar, they can have an additional bowler in the playing XI.

3) Heinrich Klaasen + Mayank Markhande from Sunrisers Hyderabad

Heinrich Klaasen was the best player for SRH in IPL 2023. He would also be the perfect fit for MS Dhoni’s position in CSK. A superb wicket-keeper, good against spin and having the ability to play across the batting line-up, CSK would like such a player.

For SRH, a player like Jaddu would make sense to add stability to the playing XI. Leaving out Klaasen will be tough but what they would get in return would be a solid option.
