The KSCA Maharaja T20 Trophy has been a success this time around. Last year, the tournament did not get a lot of popularity. However, the Karnataka youngsters made it a good season for the fans. RCB should target a few local players who played in the tournament. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three top performers in the KSCA Maharaja Trophy whom RCB can target for IPL 2025.
1) Abhinav Manohar
Seeing his displays, Gujarat Titans might even consider retaining him, However, the sample size is small for that to happen. Nevertheless, Abhinav is sure to command a lot of attention at the auctions.
Abhinav is brilliant against spin and with Rajat Patidar also in the setup, RCB can prepare a solid middle-order. Both these players are also developing their game against spin and that would further help the franchise.
2) Chethan LR
Chethan LR is one of the top performers in the KSCA Maharaja Trophy whom RCB can target for IPL 2025. He was the most costliest player at the auctions and it was a deserving bid for the youngster.
For a number of years now, Chethan has been tracked by many franchises in the IPL. However, he never got that bid. That said, thanks to his displays in this edition, he could get picked by even RCB, who will look to get a good opener for the side.
3) Manvanth Kumar
Manoj Bhandage is already with the setup. RCB may not retain him but they can try to get him at the auctions. If that does not happen, they can then target the young Manvanth Kumar, who has been doing well recently.
Like Manoj, Manvanth is also an ambidextrous all-rounder although he is better versed with the ball. It is not sure if Impact Player rule will stay. If it does not, players like Manvanth will be of great use.
