1) Priyansh Arya
Jake Fraser-McGurk is likely to be one of the openers for Delhi Capitals in IPL 2025. If DC is looking for a good partner for him, they need not go too far.
Priyansh Arya deserved an IPL contract for IPL 2024. However, that did not happen. Nevertheless, with a tournament such as the one he had, he is sure to get top bids at the next auctions. The left-hander scored more than 600 runs at a strike rate close to 200. He will be the ideal complement for JFM at the top of the order.
2) Simarjeet Singh
Simarjeet Singh is one of the top performers from the Delhi Premier League whom Delhi Capitals can target for IPL 2025. In the limited chances he got for CSK, the Delhi pacer showed his skills. He ended up as one of the highest wicket-takers in DPL 2024.
With his pace and the time when he bowls, economy is bound to be high. Nevertheless, he showed good control and was in his element. He could be a good addition to the DC bowling attack.
3) Ayush Badoni (if released by LSG)
At the current rate, it would be tempting for LSG to retain Ayush Badoni. However, it could be a big risk considering his form at the domestic level.
That said, many teams would target him if he goes under the hammer. Delhi Capitals will need a partner for Tristan Stubbs in the death overs. Ayush Badoni will be the perfect candidate. He can play at the top order also if required.
