3 things that WWE can bring back from the last decade

WWE has already started bringing things back from the past as we can see references in their new wrestling style ever since WrestleMania XL has occurred. From commentary to the fighting styles, we have simply loved what Hunter is doing with the current wrestling roster.

So is WWE heading back to the Attitude Era? Probably not. But Triple H has realized one thing that too much tenderness isn’t exactly for pro-wrestling. It is a sport that churns you from inside out and leaves you rattling for anything that you can latch onto. With all of that being said, what should ideally be the best case scenario is that they mix and match both of it. Here are three things that can be brought back from the earlier days of wrestling.

#1 Select words

One of the major aspects of pro-wrestling is rage. The storylines would have rage imbued to the very core. With themes like betrayal and darkness surrounding the entire plots, cuss words are just a part and parcel of the trade. We saw the Rock going back to his attitude era days to put Cody in harm’s way and that played perfectly well. So maybe it’s time that WWE say adieu to its select cuss words era.

#2 Obliteration of props

Back in the Attitude Era we would often see that entire cars or sets being obliterated. However, in the last decade that has happened very rarely. Fans absolute love footages like that. We have seen Triple H himself, SCSA and a lot of superstars laying waste to cars, sets and what not. Maybe it is time again, WWE reintroduces them in the house shows.

#3 Allow toys

In most of the matches that are being fought in the house shows, they aren’t as brutal as they used to be. One certainly isn’t talking about barbed wire and others but the bare minimum use of chairs, steel chairs and kendo sticks can be done without breaking a sweat. Let’s see if WWE actually goes all guns blazing for that.
