New-ball pacers, enforcers, death-overs specialists, slower-ball specialists, off-spinners, leg-spinners and may more. It is hard to construct a bowling attack in the IPL. While it is important to have quality, at the same time, it is necessary to have the variety. In this era of matchups, having multiple options against every batter is a need. On that note, here, we take a look at three teams with the best variety in the bowling attack for IPL 2024.

1) Delhi Capitals
Delhi Capitals may not stand at the top when you rate the bowling attacks for IPL 2024. However, they do have a good mix of bowlers who can help the team progress forward. While Anrich Nortje is an all-format bowler, Mukesh Kumar can also help him in most phases. Khaleel Ahmed and Ishant Sharma can be dangerous at the beginning. Mitchell Marsh can work on slow tracks.
In Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel, DC has a solid spin attack. If Lalit Yadav can come into the picture, they would also have a right-arm off-spinner. Hence, their attack looks complete.
2) Sunrisers Hyderabad
Even without Pat Cummins, SRH had a solid pace attack for all the phases. Now, with his arrival, the middle-overs look more secure. While Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowls with the new ball, T Natarajan has responsibility for the death. Umran Malik can be used as an impact player.
Mayank Markhande, Washington Sundar and Shahbaz Ahmed make a decent spin attack. Wanindu Hasaranga can also be used depending on the overseas combination.
3) Kolkata Knight Riders
KKR is one of the teams with the best variety in the bowling attack for IPL 2024. They may have only Mitchell Starc as the established pacer but Eden Gardens may not need more. In Chetan Sakariya, Harshit Rana and Andre Russell, the other phases can be managed.
In the spin attack, though, KKR looks dangerous and complete. There is plenty of variety on offer, as well. Sunil Narine, Varun CV, Suyash Sharma and Anukul Roy make for a solid spin outfit.
