1) Rajasthan Royals
Rajasthan Royals have a strong Top 3 of Jos Buttler, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sanju Samson. With Devdutt Padikkal not in the side, Riyan Parag might play at No.4 and hence, Sanju will surely operate at No.3.
All three of the players in the top-order are not just excellent players of spin but actually dominate the spinners. It is always good to have a left-hander who can dominate spin and RR has struck gold with Yashasvi Jaiswal, who is one of the best in this regard.
2) Chennai Super Kings
Ruturaj Gaikwad, Devon Conway and Ajinkya Rahane are likely to form the top-order for CSK. There are also reports that Rachin Ravindra could play at No.3.
Rahane has his issues against spin but both Rutu and Conway are excellent against spin. While Conway has his technique sorted against the spinners, Ruturaj is naturally gifted against the spinner and can take them on easily.
3) Sunrisers Hyderabad
SRH is one of the teams with the best spin-bashers in the top order for IPL 2024. At the moment, it looks like Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma and one of Rahul Tripathi or Mayank Agarwal will operate in the top-order. If SRH wants an extra foreign bowler, Head might miss out.
Head could be the only weaker player against spin. Rest of all the players are good against spin and this is a big advantage for the side.
