3 teams with the best middle-order for IPL 2024

The middle-order plays a crucial role in the success of the side. Apart from delivering with the bat, this department would be rated well if they could provide some assistance to the bowlers, as well. All the teams look to have a strong middle-order for IPL. However, based on experience, skills and variety, we have rated them in this article. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three teams with the best middle-order for IPL 2024.

Note: We have considered No.4, No.5 & No.6 batting slots for rating the middle orders of all franchises.

1) Mumbai Indians (Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya and Tim David)

The best batting line-up of IPL 2024 is definitely with the Mumbai Indians. With the addition of Hardik Pandya, the team has got the perfect No.5 to finish the game along with Tim David. If some early wickets fall, as well, Pandya would be useful.

Tilak Varma could play at No.3 and hence, we have SKY at No.4. This will further help the franchise in holding the middle order together.

2) Royal Challengers Bangalore (Glenn Maxwell, Cameron Green and Dinesh Karthik)

RCB is one of the teams with the best middle-order for IPL 2024. Last season, Cameron Green showed that he is ready for the IPL. While he might prefer a role at No.3, he has the skills to do well at No.5, as well.

Dinesh Karthik could be considered a weakness in the side. However, he gives the insurance of an experienced No.6, which some of the other teams may not be able to boast about.

3) Lucknow Super Giants (Nicholas Pooran, KL Rahul and Marcus Stoinis)

LSG has one of the under-rated middle-order combinations of IPL 2024. If it clicks, it could very well be the best in the competition.

Of course, all of it depends on whether KL Rahul would bat in the middle-order. This combination can play at the slow tracks in Lucknow and would also be handy in some of the other venues.
