3 teams with the best ambidextrous all-rounders for IPL 2024

When an all-rounder bats and bowls with different hands, he or she is known as an ambidextrous all-rounder. It is a difficult skill to master because the player has to practice either batting or bowling with a hand that is his or her strength. For a team, though, it gives a lot of variety as the captain can tactically use them. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three teams with the best ambidextrous all-rounders for IPL 2024.

1) Chennai Super Kings (Shivam Dube and Moeen Ali)

Shivam Dube is one of the best bashers of spin in India right now. He usually bats at No.4 but could come later if some early wickets fall. For India, he recently bowled well and hence, he could bowl right-arm medium-pace in IPL 2024.

Moeen Ali could struggle to get games in IPL 2024. However, he is a top all-rounder and at least in Chepauk, he could play in all the matches for CSK.

2) Kolkata Knight Riders (Venkatesh Iyer, Nitish Rana and Sunil Narine)

Both Venkatesh Iyer and Nitish Rana are batting all-rounders. They could hardly be used with the ball. However, at Eden Gardens, Nitish can be used for more spin while elsewhere, if KKR falls short of pace options, they could try out Iyer.

Sunil Narine, though, is likely to feature in all the games. Under Gautam Gambhir, it won’t be a surprise if he gets to play in the top-order again.

3) Sunrisers Hyderabad (Washington Sundar and Marco Jansen)

SRH is one of the teams with the best ambidextrous all-rounders for IPL 2024. Washington Sundar bats left-handed and is a right-arm off-spinner. He has to do well in both the departments to guarantee himself a spot in the Indian Team.

Due to the arrival of Pat Cummins, Marco Jansen might not feature a lot for SRH. He is one of the best ambidextrous bowling all-rounders right now.
