As per the new IPL rule, two new balls will be allowed in an innings to negate the effect of dew. This will benefit a few teams a lot. Here, we take a look at the list of three teams which will benefit the most with the two new balls rule in IPL 2025.
1) Kolkata Knight Riders
KKR has one of the best spin attacks in the tournament. Hence, they would automatically benefit from not having to worry about dew.
With better control, Narine and Varun can exercise better control over their deliveries. This will surely help them in the tournament.
2) Chennai Super Kings will benefit due to the two new balls rule in IPL 2025
CSK is one of the teams which will benefit the most with the two new balls rule in IPL 2025. The franchise has two solid finger spinners in R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja.
Therefore, the team will be in good shape to bowl after the 10th over, which would have otherwise been hard with a wet ball in some venues.
3) Gujarat Titans
Washington Sundar and R Sai Kishore are the finger spinners in the team. Someone like Glenn Phillips could also be used.
