Ben Stokes has not played much in IPL 2023. Although he initially found a spot in the playing XI, he later had to drop out due to injury. RR started IPL 2023 well but later their form dropped. They would need a reliable batter at No.4 to take the team forward. It would be great if this player can bowl a bit.

2) Sunrisers Hyderabad
Sunrisers Hyderabad is one of the teams that might target Ben Stokes next season if CSK releases the player. After yet another poor outing, SRH could be on a release spree after this season.
Since they will have a lot of funds, they can target the best players in the auction again. Ben Stokes is a well-known name and would be a good choice for this franchise. He could either open the batting or don the role that he plays for England.
3) Kolkata Knight Riders
KKR is also one squad that is slowly developing a strong core for the future. They would need some reliable overseas players in the top order and Stokes is someone whom they can target.
Yes, there would be too many left-handers in the top order but then against high-end pace, there are not many in the world who can play better than Stokes. This also happens to be a weakness for KKR and hence, Stokes would be a decent fit.
