Punjab Kings surprisingly released Shahrukh Khan ahead of the IPL 2024 Auctions. It was a shocking decision considering PBKS needed an Indian player in that role. With him now in the auctions, there would be certain teams that could target the Tamil Nadu cricketer. Here, we take a look at three teams that could target Shahrukh Khan in IPL 2024 Auctions.
1) Chennai Super Kings
CSK is desperate for a player to replace Ambati Rayudu. With a good purse, CSK can afford to break the bank to sign the Tamil Nadu man. The move would also please the local fans, who would want to have a homegrown player in the team.
Anyways, CSK needs a player of Shahrukh’s attribute in the team. His finishing abilities can complement the likes of Ravindra Jadeja and MS Dhoni. The raw power in him can be used to clear grounds in Chepauk where run-scoring can get difficult.
2) Royal Challengers Bangalore
RCB is one of the teams that could target Shahrukh Khan in IPL 2024 Auctions. RCB needs to find some good Indian cricketers for the team. Shahrukh Khan is one such player who would also suit the home ground of the franchise.
