1) Mumbai Indians
Mumbai Indians do not have a strong spin attack. Relying on Kumar Kartikeya and Piyush Chawla for IPL 2024 may not be a great idea. Hence, they can invest in someone like Rachin Ravindra.
Yes, MI cannot afford an overseas slot for the youngster. However, in pitches like in Lucknow or Chennai, an extra spinner might be needed. Here, he could come in for a player like Cameron Green.
2) Royal Challengers Bangalore
RCB is one of the teams that can target Rachin Ravindra for IPL 2024. Rachin’s roots actually go back to Bengaluru. Hence, there is more than one reason why RCB can sign the talented young cricketer.
Shahbaz Ahmed was poor last season. Every team needs at least one good left-arm spinner. Since Wanindu Hasaranga also tends to leak runs, RCB can have a backup like Rachin. He is also more reliable with the bat than Wanindu.
3) Rajasthan Royals
RR has the best spin attack in the IPL. However, the team does not have a good left-arm spinner. At times, the franchise also struggles with batting depth.
The Kiwi cricketer can resolve these issues with his presence. While he can offer four overs with the ball, he can also bat in the top-order or might even operate at No.6 or No.7. Hence, in place of Adam Zampa, RR can have Rachin just to have more variety in the attack.
