3 Superstars who might take a break from WWE after WrestleMania XL

WrestleMania XL kicked off to an exceptional start with the festivities of Night 1 of the show, with the anticipation skyrocketing off the roof for Night 2. However, as The Showcase of the Immortals culminates each other, that makes the beginning of a new season in the WWE landscape, seeing multiple changes moving forward.

Moreover, that also sees certain WWE superstars who embark only for the road to WrestleMania taking a break from their WWE duties, particularly those who are on the sidelines due to injury and working in non-wrestling roles or part-time attractions.

So with WrestleMania XL coming to a close soon, here are 3 WWE superstars that could possibly take a break after The Show of Shows:

1. The Rock may take a break after WrestleMania XL

The extended presence of The Rock on the road to WrestleMania XL has been one of the greatest attractions for WWE, both from the perspective of the fans and booming business for WWE. Moreover, he brought his dark, vicious, and hellish side out during his heated feud with Cody Rhodes, termed The Final Boss.

Moreover, The Rock displayed an excellent showing inside the squared circle on WrestleMania XL Saturday, not missing a step or showing any signs of ring rust. Teaming up with his cousin Roman Reigns, The Final Boss defeated Rhodes and Seth Rollins of the show in one of the most awe-inspiring performances.

With the end of WrestleMania XL on Sunday, The Rock already has film commitments coming up, his multiple business ventures to attend, and also take on his corporate duties as the TKO Board member. So all this could be a clear indication of The Great One taking a break following the Biggest WrestleMania of all time.

2. Logan Paul

Despite being the WWE United States Champion since last summer, Logan Paul has made only a handful of appearances and defended his title on certain occasions only due to his status as a part-time attraction for WWE. With his successful business ventures, social media channels, and other interests, Paul is known to make selected appearances for the global juggernaut.

Considering that WWE wants to keep full-time champions on their shows after WrestleMania XL, Night 2 of the show could see The Maverick lose his title to either Randy Orton or Kevin Owens and go on a hiatus to reemerge at a later date.

3. CM Punk

CM Punk had goals set for main eventing WrestleMania XL this year, only to have his plans derailed due to an unfortunate triceps injury at the 2024 Royal Rumble event. However, WWE still decided to make CM Punk a part of the road to the Grandest Stage of them All with multiple show appearances and also becoming the special guest commentator for the match between Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania XL Night 2.

However, with his rehab process still ongoing, WrestleMania XL could be the last time WWE Universe sees CM Punk’s presence on WWE’s televised programming before The Best in the World heals up 100% to make his in-ring return for the company on a full-time basis.
