3 retained players who could still go to a different franchise in the IPL 2024 Trade Window

IPL 2024 Trade Window will be active until December 12th. Hence, even if teams have retained some players, they could still lose them before the auctions. On that note, here, we take a look at three retained players who could still go to a different franchise in the IPL 2024 Trade Window.

1) Hardik Pandya

Hardik Pandya was all set to leave Gujarat Titans for Mumbai Indians. However, it appears that the move collapsed at the last moment. That said, there is still a chance of this happening.

Mumbai has not got a lot of money left in the purse. However, they do have some players who can be used in exchange for Hardik. Hence, the possibility of this trade is still on. If that happens, it would be a dramatic twist before the auctions start.

2) Cameron Green

Cameron Green is one of the retained players who could still go to a different franchise in the IPL 2024 Trade Window. This purely depends on what happens with the Hardik Pandya transfer. If Hardik Pandya does leave Gujarat, the IPL 2022 winners will be looking for a player from MI.

Green would be a certain candidate in this regard. Yes, he has an expensive salary but in terms of balance, he comes the closest to replacing Hardik for GT. Hence, he is on this list.

3) Navdeep Saini

There are quite a few teams that might need an Indian pacer. KKR is one such franchise. Navdeep Saini was spotted first by Gautam Gambhir and hence, there is a chance that this move could happen.

RR might need some more money and they can make that happen by freeing one of the slots. They already have a lot of Indian frontline pacers such as Prasidh Krishna, Avesh Khan and Kuldeep Sen. Therefore, losing Saini might not be an issue.
