3 Reasons why Bray Wyatt was one of the finest WWE Superstars of the modern era

This morning the wrestling world woke up to a very sad news as Windham Rotunda aka Bray Wyatt or Husky Harris in his wee days, left the earth for his heavenly abode after suffering a massive heart attack. He was already diagnosed with a serious terminal disease which involved his heart, and as far as reports go, things were already looking brighter for the Eater of the Worlds.

In fact, sources say that he was close to an in-ring return and the WWE Universe waited patiently for this. However, only if they had known that they had already witnessed the last of the Fiend! As a tribute to the big man, here are three reasons why Bray Wyatt was one of the finest wrestlers of the modern era.

#1 Wyatt was an entirely different character in and out of the ring

Wyatt played the gimmicks of darkness where he would talk about cryptic messages and ominous threats that were linked with curses and dark worlds. He would often talk along the lines of a cult and would leave the world shaking in fear.

In fact, Undertaker played out that lovely act where he passed the torch to Bray when the latter Sister Abigailed LA Knight. However, outside the ring, in every fan interaction ever, Windham Rotunda was an absolute sweetheart who would not leave a stone unturned to make his fans smile.

#2 He was one of the rare individuals whom WWE gave complete independence over the creative angle and he nailed it like a pro

Not every wrestler gets a say on the creative angle where he would be performing and going by his storylines of darkness, the authority chose to hand him over unbridled freedom and Wyatt ensured that the WWE Universe is loving it. From being the Eater of the Worlds to the Firefly Funhouse, he rocked every single storyline that provided complete entertainment to the masses.

#3 Bray Wyatt complemented his mic skills with his wrestling skills

He was a perfect mix and match of his words and his grappling talent and all the promos that he would pull off would leave the audience agape in absolute shock.

Not only was he a prolific wrestler but every time he picked up the mic, people listened. Even the greatest of wrestlers have had trouble to bring out the mic skills but Bray was a natural.
