AJ Styles won two matches on last week’s WWE SmackDown episode to progress to the final of the World Heavyweight Championship tournament. The Phenomenal One will fight against Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins in the final of the tournament at the WWE Night of Champions 2023 premium live event on May 27.
Styles and Rollins battled at the Money in the Bank show in 2019. Rollins successfully defended his WWE Universal Championship in that match. The two in-ring technicians will lock horns for the first time on a premium live event since Money in the Bank at the Night of Champions show in Saudi Arabia.
Before the big match takes place, in this article now, we will look at the three reasons why AJ Styles should win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
1. AJ Styles can become the new face of WWE RAW

Back in 2016, when WWE SmackDown went live on Tuesdays, the blue brand needed a Superstar who could carry the show and become the new ‘face that runs the place’. Styles emerged as that Superstar.
He established SmackDown as the ‘House that AJ Styles built’. He won the WWE Championship and had several exciting rivalries which positively impacted the viewership. RAW needs a similar thing from Styles now, so that a new era can behin on the red brand.
2. Styles has many rivalries left to explore on the red brand
If Styles wins the World Heavyweight Championship, he will move over to Monday night RAW. The Phenomenal One can then have rivalries with Seth Rollins, Damian Priest, Finn Balor, Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre, Matt Riddle, Ricochet, Braun Strowman, The Miz and even Shinsuke Nakamura on the red brand.
3. Seth Rollins has been quite relevant even without a title and Styles deserves 1 final title run

Styles is 45 years old and may not wrestle regularly for too long. The leader of the O.C. deserves one final world title run before he reduces his wrestling matches per year. Meanwhile, Seth Rollins won’t be too impacted if he doesn’t win the World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions.
